In the city of Marseille, France, at around 00:40 local time, a multi-story building collapsed as a result of an explosion for an unknown reason, causing another building to collapse afterwards. Five of the ten people who were thought to have remained under the rubble were removed and sent to the hospital. French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin stated that a third building partially collapsed as well.
