A massive explosion occurred in a part of an oil pipeline between the cities of Bengardovka and Kovalevo in the Lengrad region of Russia. The flames, bursting meters above, was visible from St. Petersburg.
“Firefighters and rescuers extinguish a fire caused by a gas pipeline depressurization between Berngardovka and Kovalevo,” said Gov. Alexander Drozdenko. “There is no threat to the population and the spread of fire to residential areas.” he added.
