An explosion occurred on Istiklal Street, which is one of the busiest streets of Taksim district in Turkiye’s Istanbul. The explosion, the cause of which is unknown, injured several citizens around.
While many medical teams and police were sent to the scene, the street was closed to pedestrian traffic.
The incident is under investigation.
