According to the initial reports 8 were killed and 9 others were injured in an explosion that took place in the capital of Iraq, Baghdad. Many vehicles and houses at the scene were severely damaged by the explosion.
The police said that the explosion occurred because of the detonation of the explosive placed in a vehicle.
