Turkish Special Operations (SAS) teams have safely detonated an explosive-laden object, suspected to be a fragmented kamikaze drone, after it washed ashore on Istanbul’s Arnavutköy coast. Local residents first spotted the suspicious debris scattered along the shoreline and immediately alerted the authorities. Coast Guard units and elite underwater defense commandos were quickly dispatched to secure the area and conduct a thorough technical examination of the wreckage. After confirming the object contained active explosive materials, the SAS teams successfully neutralized the threat through a controlled, safe detonation.
