Fan Threatening Police Gets Shot before Poland-Germany Match

A football fan threatening the police with an ax and a molotov cocktail during a march organized by Netherland fans before the Euro 2024 match between Poland and the Netherlands in the St Pauli region of Hamburg, Germany, was shot and neutralized by police.

According to the Hamburg police, the attacker was shot in the leg after attempting to set the Motolov cocktail on fire, and his life was not in danger. His purpose is not yet known, added the police.
