Far-Right Protested in France

Ahead of the upcoming early general elections, thousands of people gathered in Republic Square in the French capital, Paris, against the rise of the far-right wing and chanted slogans against the Rassemblement National Party. Officials who spoke at the protest urged citizens to defend democratic values against the far-right threat.

A feminist group that opened banners against the left-wing coalition New Popular Front during the demonstration in Paris was beaten by protesters.
