Farmers Rally in Brussels Against EU Agricultural Restrictions

European farmers are increasingly opposed to the EU’s plan imposing new limits on nature protection and agricultural production. In response to stricter agricultural criteria, French farmers protested in Brussels, unable to reach the European Parliament with tractors due to police restrictions. Displaying a symbolic hanging cow figurine, farmers highlighted their struggle against unfair global competition.

One of the protesters Patrick Clogenson expressed frustration, citing impractical regulations and warning that those mocking farmers today may face food scarcity tomorrow. Clogenson emphasized that farmers have run out of patience with the challenges they are confronting.
