FBI Reveals Trump’s Attacker’s Identity

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation announced the identity of the attacker who attempted to assassinate former US President Donald Trump and was shot and died at the scene. The gunman was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, according to the bureau. Crooks is noted to be a Republican supporter, according to Pennsylvania state voter registration.

The attack, which became a global headline, was criticized by country leaders such as Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on the grounds that it was an anti-democratic action.
