Fighter Jet in UK Makes Emergency Landing After Bird Strike

A Royal Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon pilot made an emergency landing in England after a bird strike shattered the cockpit canopy mid-flight over the North Sea.

The pilot safely landed at a Lincolnshire air base after discarding the damaged canopy. Another jet escorted the aircraft, which flew at low altitude and reduced speed. Authorities confirmed the pilot was unharmed.
