A fire broke out in the international departure terminal of Baghdad International Airport. Passengers at the terminal were evacuated.
IRAQ Directorate General of Civil Defence stated that the fire started in a cafeteria in the terminal and was taken under control. It was also stated that 3 civil defense personnel affected by the smoke were taken to a hospital.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
