A fire broke out in the historical marketplace in the city of Kitakyushu in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The fire reportedly broke out in the kitchen of a workplace in the marketplace called Tanga Ichiba yesterday. Reaching the area in a short time, 40 fire trucks and dozens of firefighters arrived on the scene to extinguish the flames. The 100-year-old marketplace became unusable in the fire.
No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
