A fire at Luton Airport’s multi-storey car park in England began in a vehicle on the third floor and rapidly spread to other levels. The fire involved more than 1,500 vehicles, resulting in a partial collapse of the parking structure and damage to around 1,200 cars. All flights at Luton Airport were halted until 15:00 on the following day to ensure safety.
