A fire broke out while installing insulation in the Tbbiye Mosque, which is being built on the Van Yüzüncü Yıl University campus located in eastern Turkey. The fire department was dispatched to the scene as the flames quickly grew. The extinguishing effort is ongoing.
A benevolent engineer designed the Mosque Complex, which incorporates Ottoman, Seljuk, and modern architectural styles and spans a total area of 20,600 square meters with 6,500 closed areas.
