A devastating fire at a hotel in Bolu’s Kartalkaya Ski Center left 66 people dead and 51 injured, including one critically. The hotel had 238 guests at the time of the incident.
The Ministry of Health confirmed the fatalities and stated that 17 of the injured have been discharged, while 34 remain hospitalized. Emergency response efforts included 38 ambulances, 14 National Medical Rescue Teams (UMKE), and 163 healthcare personnel. Two Emergency Response Units were also set up in the area.
Authorities expressed condolences to the victims’ families and wished the injured a swift recovery.
