Fire erupts at Zaporozhye nuclear power plant amid ongoing clashes in Ukraine

Russian soldiers surrounded the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in the city of Energodar in Ukraine’s Zaporoji Region, where Ukrainian army protecting the power plant. During the ongoing clashes, both sides used rockets and heavy weapons, causing fire broke out in some parts of the power plant. The fire department intervened in the fire. The conflict between Russians and Ukrainians continues.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitriy Kuleba said in a statement, “The Russian army is firing at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant from all directions. If there is an explosion, it will cause a disaster 10 times the size of Chernobyl.”
