A fire that broke out in a 10-story office building on Talegani Street in Tehran, the capital of Iran, killed a firefighter who came to respond to the fire. Ten people trapped in the building were rescued by firefighters. The fire, which broke out at 10:22 local time, was extinguished after 12 hours of efforts. The street was closed to traffic because of the risk of the building’s collapse. The Tehran prosecutor’s office launched an investigation into the fire.
