Fire near Istanbul’s landmark Çırağan Palace

A fire broke out as a result of the explosion of the electric panel on the 3rd floor of the hotel section of the historical Çırağan Palace, one of the symbols of Istanbul, Turkey. While the fire was brought under control as a result of the work of many firefighters sent to the scene, 3 workers were also affected by the smoke.

In the aftermath of the fire, the main gate of Raan Palace was covered in soot. Efforts continue at the scene.
