Due to the fire that erupted last Sunday on the E-Ku-A2 platform of Mexican Petroleum (Pemex) in the Southern Gulf of Mexico, 5 people were killed, 6 were wounded and 2 went missing. Around 24,900,000 dollars were lost as a result of the closure of 125 oil-wells following the fire.
