A firefighting plane crashed while dropping water on the fire near the village of Platanisto on the Greek island of Euboea at around 15:00. An explosion occurred after the crash. Authorities have stated that the pilots may have died.
The footage shows that the pilots tried maneuvering to slow down before crashing, but the damaged wing did not allow it.
