Fire whirlwind appears near downtown lake in canada

A rare fire whirlwind was observed in the fire near the Downton Lake in the province of British Columbia amid Canada’s battle against the worst wildfires in the country’s history. The British Columbia Fire Service estimate that the whirlwind was caused by the cold winds from the mountain.

A total of 15.4 million hectares of land turned to ashes and the fight against flames continues at 1,033 points across the country, according to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre (CIFFC)
