Fireball Meteors Light Up Japan’s Night Sky

Fireball-shaped meteors were spotted across Japan for two consecutive nights, with amateur footage circulating widely on social media.

Bright, fast-moving meteors were recorded between 1:20 and 2:00 a.m. local time. Experts said the glowing trails were caused by meteors burning up and disintegrating in the atmosphere.
