Firefighting plane crashes in Italy, killing 2

A firefighting plane crashed yesterday while fighting a forest fire near Mount Etna on the island of Sicily, Italy. The bodies of two pilots were recovered after a search and rescue operation at the scene, local sources said. The footage from the incident shows that after the plane descended to extinguish the flames, its right wing collided with the mountainside, crashed to the ground, and caught fire.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
