An explosion occurred at around 15:00 local time at a fireworks warehouse in the Thai town of Sungai Kolok. The blast caused damage and collapse of the surrounding buildings and killed 9 people. A total of 115 people were injured as well. Officials said the explosion was due to a technical error broke out while steel welding.
