First passenger train departs from Kiev after withdrawal of Russian army

Months after the Ukraine – Russia war started, the first passenger train departed from the Ukrainian capital Kiev to Kherson, where the Russian army withdrew last week.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko shared on his social media account, “The first train went to Kherson. This is our victory train. There are 200 passengers on the wagons who bought a ‘victory’ ticket. Just like this train, we will return everything for a normal life to Kherson!’.
