First Ukrainian grain ship arrives in Djibouti

The first UN-chartered ship carrying Ukrainian wheat has arrived in Djibouti, the World Food Programme (WFP) announced on Tuesday. The ship arrived in the Red Sea nation of Djibouti after 14 days at sea, carrying 23,000 tonnes of wheat from Ukraine, according to the WFP.

The wheat will be used to support its humanitarian response in Ethiopia, where over 20 million people face hunger, the WFP said.
