Flamingos Flock to Turkish Wetlands

Flamingos, rare and beautiful birds with pink feathers, have arrived at the reed fields in Pamucak, located between Türkiye’s Kuşadası and Selçuk districts. This migration is due to the increased water levels from spring rains, creating ideal feeding conditions for these stunning birds. Flamingos are known for their long legs, curved necks, and unique calls, adding charm to the wetlands as they feed on aquatic invertebrates.
