Flash floods hit Indonesian island of Java after heavy rains. Dozens of households were destroyed, and 5 people were killed, authorities said. According to Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), heavy rains caused rivers flooding at Arjuno Mountain, submerging five regions in Kota Batu city.
Authorities announced that search and rescue efforts continue for 11 missing people, and that the power cuts and roads closed due to debris and mud slowed the work.
