flash floods rip roads, trees in mexican state of Coahuila

Heavy rains caused flooding in the city of Acuna, located in the Mexican state of Coahuila. Flood waters dragged vehicles on the roads. Winds reaching a speed of 100 kilometers per hour caused material damage to some houses. Dozens of trees were ripped and power lines were broken across the region. About 100 people were evacuated from their homes, while electricity was cut off in large parts of the city. No casualties or injuries were reported.
