Flash floods caused by heavy rainfall in southern Iran killed 2 people and injured 7 others, officials said. Search and rescue teams are helping the locals in Fars, Kerman, Hormozgan, Sistan and Balochistan provinces. A 50-year-old woman died after her house was flooded by the river overflowing, the fire chief said. He added that 4 people trapped on board were flooded and one of them died.
All roads and facilities in the south and southwest of Fars province were reportedly damaged.
