Flooding hits Pakistan: 20 killed

Monsoon rains caused flooding in several cities of Pakistan’s Balochistan province. According to authorities, 20 people died in the flooding. Six women from the same family have died as a result of the collapse of the roof of their house in the city of Ketta, authorities added. Local officials declared state of emergency in Ketta, where more than 100 houses collapsed in the city’s Sariab Mills.

Furthermore, The Sukkur city of Sind Province of Pakistan was also affect by floods, where dozens of houses were damaged. Search and rescue operations are underway on the disaster area.
