Floods and landslides kill 115 in Rwanda and Uganda

Heavy rains in Rwanda and Uganda caused flooding and landslides. Rwandan officials stated that the Sebeya River overflowed and 109 people died. Meanwhile, the Uganda Red Cross said 6 people died in the town of Kisoro, on the Ugandan border with Rwanda.

Hundreds of people have been left homeless due to the destruction caused by floods and landslides in Uganda, which has been under the influence of heavy rains since March.
