Floods And Landslides Kill 15 In Northern India

Severe rainfall in the Indian state of Uttarakhand triggered floods and landslides, killing 15 people and leaving 16 missing. Most casualties were reported in Dehradun, with others in Pithoragarh and Nainital.

Rescue teams evacuated residents from flooded areas, including one man saved by ropes from the Swarna River. Authorities warned locals in high-risk zones to remain cautious as search operations continue.
