Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency reported that the number of people killed in the floods and landslides that occurred on the island of Sumatra on Friday increased to 21, at least 2 people were injured, and 6 people were still missing. Authorities also said more than 80,000 people were evacuated to temporary shelters, and nearly 20,000 houses in nine districts and cities in West Sumatra province were submerged up to the roof.
