Heavy rains triggered severe flooding on the Greek islands of Paros and Mykonos, sweeping away vehicles and damaging roads. Authorities closed schools and restricted traffic, urging residents to stay indoors.
Paros was the hardest hit, with floodwaters carrying away about 40 vehicles. Firefighters rescued 13 people, but no casualties were reported. Mykonos declared a state of emergency as shops and boats suffered damage. The storm also affected other islands, including Syros and Crete, with more severe weather expected.
