Floods Hit Northern Italy, One Missing

Heavy rains in northern Italy caused flooding in Como, Monza, Brianza, and Milan, leaving streets submerged and schools evacuated. The Seveso River overflowed, paralyzing daily life across the Lombardy region.

A German tourist went missing after being swept away by floodwaters in Piedmont. Her husband survived with their dog. Train services between Switzerland’s Chiasso region and Milan were also disrupted due to storm damage.
