Floods Hit Southern Thailand: 2 Dead

The monsoon rains that continued in southern Thailand in recent days have caused flooding, affecting more than 150,000 households in 8 provinces. Authorities said at least 2 people have died and thousands have been evacuated from their homes. In many areas where the water level is above 1 meter, aid and evacuation efforts were carried out by boats.

The Thai meteorology unit reported that the heavy rains will last until December 3, and warned citizens to take the necessary precautions.
