Floods in China Leave 9 Dead, Thousands Evacuated

Heavy rains triggered floods in Xianfeng, China, forcing 18,000 people to evacuate as homes and vehicles were submerged. Public transport and schools were shut down.

In Henan Province, 3 people died and 5 remain missing. Last week, flooding in Guizhou’s Rongjiang district killed 6 people after record rainfall. Tens of thousands were displaced across affected regions.
