Floods in Mexico Leave 64 Dead, 65 Missing

 

Severe floods caused by heavy rains in Mexico have killed at least 64 people, with 65 others still missing. Authorities said the states of Veracruz, Hidalgo, and Puebla were among the worst affected, with nearly 100,000 homes damaged or destroyed. President Claudia Sheinbaum deployed thousands of soldiers to assist rescue and relief operations, while the army and National Guard continue to deliver aid to isolated regions.
