Floods In Pakistan Kill 905, Millions Evacuated

The death toll from floods and landslides triggered by monsoon rains in Pakistan since June 26 has risen to 905, according to the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA).

Punjab province, the worst-hit region, has recorded 56 deaths, with 1.3 million acres of farmland submerged after three rivers overflowed. Officials said over 4.2 million people and 4,100 villages have been affected, forcing more than 2 million people to evacuate. Relief efforts include 423 camps, over 500 health units, and 432 veterinary centers set up for survivors.
