At least six people were killed and two injured after heavy rains triggered floods in Pakistan’s Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. A wall and roof collapse in Punjab’s Jhelum district caused the fatalities. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, flooding from the Panjkora River forced the closure of part of the Pakistan-Afghanistan highway. Widespread property damage and power outages were reported, though no casualties occurred in that region.
