Floods and landslides caused by heavy rains killed six people in China’s Fujian, Jiangxi province, and Inner Mongolia region. Three people were killed after a house collapsed during a landslide in Fujian province. A landslide in neighboring Jiangxi province claimed the lives of two people. Due to heavy rain in the Inner Mongolia region in the country’s north, a vehicle was flooded on a mountain road, killing one person and leaving three others missing. People trapped in buildings due to flooding were evacuated by boat in southeastern Guangdong province. 200,000 people have been evacuated from their homes as a result of the flooding that has occurred in the country since the beginning of June.
