Floodwaters Reach Parliament Building in Hungary

The heavy rainfall brought by Storm Boris, which caused 24 deaths in Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and Romania, has hit Hungary as well. The Danube River, which flows through the capital Budapest and has risen 1 meter in the last 24 hours overflowed.

Authorities warned that water levels will peak tomorrow.
