‘flying vehicle’ completes first test in Israel

AIR ONE, an Israeli startup, recently completed its first hover test with regulators of an electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicle for individual consumers. After unveiling the first consumer-market designs in October, the startup began accepting pre-orders for the AIR ONE, an all-electric two-seater eVTOL.

The “flying vehicle” has a range of 177 km on a single charge and a flight time of one hour, according to the company. It can take off and land on any flat surface and has collapsible wings for easy parking.
