fog lingers around türkiye’s cappadocia

Turkey’s Cappadocia, which earned its place in UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage List with its valleys and unique landscapes in 1985, has been under fog since the early hours of the morning. Tourists, who visited the region regardless of the adverse weather conditions, had a difficult time seeing the fairy chimneys but enjoyed the magical view and took plenty of souvenir photos. Due to low visibility decreased to 30 meters, hot air balloon flights have not been possible for three days.

“Cappadocia was under fog and snow, but I found it extraordinary. I will tell my friends and surroundings about the wonderful beauties of Cappadocia,” says Tomoe Nagami, a Japanese tourist.
