Food Aid Delivered to Gaza After 15 Days

The Israeli army’s Unit for the Coordination of Government Activities in the Palestinian Territories (COGAT) announced that 81 food packages were airlifted to the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip in coordination with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

One of Hamas’ senior officials, Sami Abu Zuhri, stated after the delivery that only a few aid packages were allowed into central Gaza and that no aid had been allowed into northern Gaza for more than 15 days.

Palestinians in the region, where the health system has collapsed, are facing severe hunger and clean water problems.
