Israel’s attack on the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza, the only oncology facility in the area, was witnessed by onlookers. The hospital sustained damage, and key electromechanical systems were disabled. Due to a fuel shortage, some departments in the hospital had already been closed. This poses a significant challenge for the approximately 9,000 cancer patients in the Gaza Strip, which has a population of 2.3 million.
