New footage has surfaced of a Delta Air Lines CRJ-900 passenger plane overturning after landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The aircraft, carrying 80 people from Minneapolis, caught fire moments after touchdown, skidded, and flipped over.
Toronto Pearson Fire Chief Todd Aitken stated that runway conditions were dry with no crosswind reported. Passengers were evacuated through emergency exits, with 18 people injured, including three seriously. The cause of the accident remains unclear, though strong winds were reported in the area.
