Many civilian areas were damaged after the Russian attacks in Zhytomyr, which is located at a very strategic point between the capital Kyiv and Lviv in Ukraine. The city has been targeted many times since the first day of the war. Most of a high school building in the city was destroyed. After the attack in the city, houses and workplaces were also destroyed. The destroyed school building and its surroundings were taken under protection by Ukrainian soldiers.
No one is allowed to enter the zone, except for citizens living in the surrounding area and those with special permits.
