A forest fire started in an area not so far away to to the settlements in Zafer neighborhood in Izmir’s Buca district at around 13:00 local time. The Izmir Regional Directorate of Forestry sent numerous air and land vehicles to intervene in the flames, which broke out for an undetermined reason. Teams continue their work to control the fire.
